The organizers of the 17th FINA World Championships are providing a total of 1500 parking spaces. This is told by the Bp2017 World Championship Organizing and Managing Nonprofit Ltd.’s Operations and Logistics Manager at a Monday press conference in Budapest.
Csaba Varga said that at the Duna Plaza the organizers provided also a parking place which is suitable of reception of 700 cars. The service is only available for those who have a pass for the world championship. Varga noted: those who drop their car there are provided by a bus services to the Danube Arena. The media and employees have 330 parking spaces for VIP guests there are 450 parking places.
There is also a parking lot on the Müpa and Műegyetem quay, which can be used by those only, who have a valid ticket for the chamiponship.
There is also a hotline on the 907-0500 phone number in Budapest and its already in operation. This helps for the visitors to get all kinds of information about the World Championship, including for example the transport, ticket sales and tourism. From 6 to 30 July each day all day long the hotline operates and receives calls both Hungarian and English languages. The hotline runs until the end of the Masters world championship, August 22.
